AES is a Cognia certified STEM school. STEM at AES is integrated through inquiry-based learning in each classroom and is highlighted in our STEM and Technolgy SPECIALS (elective) for all students in grades K-5.
At AES, we build on existing technology and proven methods to challenge students with Project-Based Learning. Avondale’s STEM Garden is an oasis of learning about Botany for our students and allows the community to benefit from having fresh fruits and vegetables.
