With several years of experience in education, I am delighted to introduce myself as the Assistant Principal of Avondale Elementary School. My name is Lucretia Ford, and I am honored to continue working with the leadership team and a vibrant and dedicated school community in my new role as Assistant Principal.

I am committed to fostering an environment where every student feels valued and empowered to achieve their best. My background includes teaching at the elementary, middle & high school levels. In addition, I’ve been an Academic Data Coach, Summer School Site-based Leader, the Afterschool Tutorials Facilitator, and I’ve coached basketball, volleyball, and track.

I am passionate about promoting an inclusive education for all students. My goals include implementing strategies to raise student performance and close achievement gaps. I am dedicated to supporting our teachers and staff by providing them with the resources and professional development opportunities they need to succeed.

At Avondale Elementary School, we strive for excellence in all we do, and I am eager to work alongside Dr. Candace Sagers, our talented staff, supportive parents, and, most importantly, our incredible students to continue this tradition of excellence.
