Hard Copy of school work

If you do not have access to the internet or a computer for your child to complete his/her daily Virtual Learning Assignments, you may come by the school to pick up a hard copy. Please proceed to the front of the school on Lakeshore Drive.  The grade level bins are stored on a shelf by the front door (see the attached picture).  Please take on one packet per child and please ensure that you place the lid back on the container.  As always, if you have additional questions/concerns regarding the assignment, reach out to your child's teacher via Class Dojo or email.

Thank you for ensuring that our scholars are completing their graded assignment.

With Roadrunner Pride,

Dr. Andrews

Suspension of State Testing

Georgia Department of Education, due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the closure of many public schools, State Superintendent Richard Woods is suspending the following until further notice:  State assessment window/administration (including Georgia Milestones End-of-Grade and End-of-Course assessments, the Georgia Alternate Assessment/GAA 2.0, and all other required testing)

Census Parent Fact Sheet

Please help support the collaboration of the DeKalb School District and the Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) in making sure all birth-5 year olds in DeKalb County are counted in the 2020 Census.  All households will receive an invitation in the mail by April 1, 2020 to complete the 2020 Census. The census is used to designate local funding to service children and families.  The census will be available online, by phone or by mail with language supports for 59 languages other than English.  Since young children ages birth - 5 are considered a Hard to Count group by the U.S. Census Bureau, we are asking everyone to help spread the word on the importance of getting a complete count across Georgia.
