Assistant Principal- Dr. Candace M. Sagers

Welcome to Avondale!!!

I look forward to working with the students, faculty and staff, the community, and all stakeholders during the 2023-2024 academic year.  My plan this year is to continue to strive towards our mission which is to challenge students to be caring communicators, collaborators, and critical thinkers. I hope to continue to help ignite the passion that is within our teachers to provide our students with a quality education. Lastly, to go the extra mile in service to our students and teachers to ensure that our performance at Avondale is exemplary.

My goal

My goal is to ensure that our students become successful and productive citizens. I truly believe in shaping the "whole child" and I will always work to make sure our students are the best they can be! I strongly believe in being a lifelong learner and I try to instill that belief in everyone I meet, especially our students.  Our students will make gains academically and socially through our IB and STEM programs.
