I look forward to working with the students, faculty and staff, the community, and all stakeholders during the 2016-2017 academic year. We will be involved in a lot of exciting initiatives this year. Our superintendent, Dr. R. Stephen Green, has provided us with the following theme for this year: Purpose, Passion and Performance. My plan this year is to continue to strive towards our purpose which is to provide all students with a standards-based instructional program ensuring academic success and responsible citizenship. I hope to continue to help ignite the passion that is within our teachers to provide our students with a quality education. Lastly, to go the extra mile in service to our students and teachers to ensure that our performance at Avondale is exemplary.
My goal is to ensure that our students become successful and productive citizens. I truly believe in shaping the "whole child" and I will always work to make sure our students are the best they can be! I strongly believe in being a lifelong learner and I try to instill that belief in everyone I meet, especially our students.
